Reis Landon 'Peanut Butter' Yoc-Santos

–

Dover, Delaware

Reis Landon Yoc-Santos, 14, of Dover, DE tragically passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025.
He was born in Dover, DE on September 29, 2010, to his parents Heather and Fernando Yoc-Santos and had a tenacious spirit from the very beginning.

Reis had just started his freshman year of high school and was so excited to turn 15 in just a few short weeks, make memories with his friends and find his path in life.

To know Reis was to love him. He came off as shy when first meeting people, but he was really just taking it all in. He got to know everyone in his life down to the finest details and he used those to
show love in the most meaningful ways. He would do things like pick you a flower if he knew you were sad. No words, but the gesture and a smirk that was wrapped in ‘I love you’.

He was always patient and slow to anger, but still ready to stand up for anyone he loved. He always showed up, was always kind, always knew how to make you smile and made sure you knew you were loved.

Reis loved music, but especially rock. Just about every shirt he owned had the name of a band he loved plastered on the front. He played the drums and was really starting to master his skills. Just ask the neighbors. They heard the growth through the windows. Reis put his heart into every single thing he ever did. He discovered his strength, discipline and passions through joining sports teams like the middle school wrestling and
lacrosse teams. He earned the MVP award in Lacrosse after never even picking up a stick until just months before the start of his first season.
If he wasn’t home, he was at the gym, with his girlfriend or outside somewhere with his friends.

Wherever he went, his music and that beautiful smile went too. Reis was the calm this world needed, and it will never be the same without him. His laugh will echo in our hearts forever.

Reis is preceded in death by his grandfather, John E. Lewis, great grandmother, Phyllis Garey, great grandfather, Charles Garey and uncle, Jody Lewis.

Reis is survived by his mother, Heather Yoc-Santos and father, Fernando Yoc-Santos; sisters Brittany Guallpa, Marisa Guallpa (Cody Lahman); brother, Cruz Yoc-Santos and younger sister, Carly Yoc-Santos; nephews, Kadyn Scott and Luca Lahman; grandparents, Wanda Lewis, Esther Santos, Mauricio Yoc, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
