Pheadra L Bacon Obituary (1966

Pheadra Lyrae Bacon was born in Seaford, Delaware on June 6, 1966, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital to parents, Raymond and Phyllis Bacon. Pheadra departed this life on May 12, 2024. Pheadra attended Seaford Schools and graduated from Seaford High School in 1984. She initially worked at Dupont before changing careers to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. As a CNA she worked at various Nursing homes with her final employment being Genesis Health Care Center where she dedicated 24 years. She was known to be a hard worker who was compassionate towards her clients. Pheadra was loved by her coworkers and was saddened to leave them behind. Pheadra loved to dine and shop. She was a talented decorator who often gave decorating advice to her family. She was passionate about giving to others and was especially conscious about looking out for her mother and father. On May 1, 2023, Pheadra made the decision to dedicate her life to the Lord becoming a member of Crossroad Community Church. Pheadra valued the importance of becoming a witness to her family of God's love and forgiveness. She was proud to tell everyone that she was Saved, and they should get Saved too. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna Bacon, Norman Nichols, Bertha Nutter and niece Raven Bacon. Pheadra leaves to mourn, her parents, Raymond and Phyllis Bacon; two children, son Tajah Bacon, daughter, Kai Bacon; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Darren Bacon, Raymond Bacon; one sister, Catrina Hinds (Vincent) all of Seaford, DE; aunts and uncles, Ronald Bacon, Joan Mann, Foster Bacon, Kay Barbour; great aunts, Elizabeth Jenkins and Elaine Jenkins; nieces and nephews, Jairus Hinds, Tiffanni Hinds, Coreye Ross, Dakeish Higgins (Sean), Darrien Bacon, Karizma Bacon; special friends/family, Monique Cornish, Cheryl Doughty, Winston Nichols, Theopolis Teagle, Kyan Andrews and a host of cousins on her mom and dad's sides of the family.
