Dwan T Jarvis Obituary (1995

Dwan Timothy Jarvis was born December 31, 1995, with his identical twin brother, Timothy Dwan Jarvis at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Wanny and his twin brother Tim were a beautiful beam of light from the very beginning. Dwan was a loveable kid, and everywhere he went most people loved him. Everyone that talks about him always says how positive and upbeat he was. He left no doubt about how much he loved his parents and family, he told anybody and everybody that would listen how cool his parents, Tim and Yvette are. Dwan loved playing baseball, basketball, football, fishing and he was the best little crabber you ever saw. He loved just hanging out and bonding with his brothers, Jamaal, Kareem Tim and Jarvis. And his sister Renicia, Timicia, and Tia. He has many, many cousins but he has four cousins that he was really close with AJ, Deon, Eric, and Malik. He also has two wonderful grandmothers that he adores- Alberta Harpe of Milford, DE and Doris Jarvis of Dover, DE. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Stanford Harpe from Milton, DE (by way of Georgia) and Aubrey Jarvis from Milton, DE (by way of Norfolk, VA) Dwan also has a handful of nieces, he has a very special niece that he adores, Kasey Jarvis from Wilmington, DE. Dwan also has a list of aunts Terri Harpe, Angel Jarvis (Bell), Edna Harris (Morris), Linda Silvis, and Aunt Shoogi. Dwan also has a sturdy list of uncles, Stanford Harpe, Larry Silvis, Aubrey Lamar Jarvis, Aubrey Lee Jarvis, Antonio Jarvis all who loved him dearly. Dwan attended school in the Cape Henlopen District and finished school in the Milford District. He was the winning pitcher for Milford Little League State Champs. He loved music especially Rap, R&B, and surprisingly he also loved country music. He also loved eating, there is nothing Mom Mom Bert cooked that he wouldn't quickly devour-with a big smile on his face. The only thing he liked than Mom Mom Berts cooking was his mom's lasagna. Dwan was very talented from the start, when he was a little kid and went crabbing with his family he could slowly reel in the line and scoop the crabs up all in one motion, he would then come running to his parents to show off his catch. He once entered the "Hoop Shoot" contest and in the final round for the championship he would 10 out of 10 shots. He was awesome at everything he did. Dwan is going to be greatly missed his loud month, his positive attitude, his laughter, his kindness, his unselfishness, and most of all just him. People say that the good die young, and Dwan was good and young. So going forward if you ever want to honor Dwan here is what he would say: Treat every kid as if it were your own, respect and love your parents, and treat everyone with love and respect, whether they are rich or poor, black or white, man or woman, old or young. Everyone wants to be loved and respected and God knows Dwan was great at that. We will always love you Dwan. We will always miss you Dwan, We will honor you Dwan. And we will never forget you Dwan. We are sure there is spot for you in Heaven Dwan, so until we see you there -We love you Wanny!
