Brookes L Dashiell Obituary (1988

Brookes Lamar Dashiell, also known as "Squirrel" was a son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, uncle, and father. He left this world suddenly on June 7, 2024, at the age of 36. He was born to Joanne V. Wright (deceased) and Terrence Hayman on April 19, 1988, in Salisbury, Md. After the untimely death of his mother, Brookes found himself under the wings and care of his uncle Gregory "Weezy" Wright, maternal great-grandparents John and Naomi Hayward and Big bro. Otis Russell. He received part of his education from the Seaford School District, Ohio School District and Wicomico County School District. Life took some turns for him while in school, but after some time Brookes went back to school and received his GED. If Brookes were to be summed up in three words, they would be Family, Love and Loyalty. From a young boy, he enjoyed clowning around and playing with his cousins, siblings and friends. Everyone knew if Brookes was around "a time would be had" filled with fun, laughter, eating and dancing. You could expect to see the room light up or the atmosphere change when he came around. He loved his family and was very protective of those he loved. Even when he was on his adventures in life, he still made it his business to "check in" with his loved ones. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and took various risks along the way. He enjoyed numerous hobbies starting in his teenage years: riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, skating, golf and even tennis. Brookes was a man of confidence, he was a go-getter, he was honest and said whatever was on his mind. This didn't take from the fact he had a heart full of love; that was obvious in the love he shared among his children. His girls brought out the best in him. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Joanne V. Wright, great-grandfather, John Hayward and sister Brya L. Robinson. He leaves to mourn his loss his (4) daughters Brook'LynnDashiell, Mylahni Dashiell, Selena Dugger and Kyla Dashiell. His father Terrence Hayman (Tasha), his honorary fathers Robert Dashiell and Anthony Robinson Sr., maternal grandmother Gwendolyn Wright, paternal grandfather Harrison Hayman, maternal great-grandmother NoamiHayward. His maternal siblings: Brandi Wright, Anthony Robinson Jr., Dimere Robinson, paternal siblings: DanasiaPrice, Taniyah Hayman, Tani'rah Hayman, Devin Hayman, TJ Hayman, and Tyrin Hayman and bonus siblings: NyshaiBanks, Katonya Banks, Lytyia Robinson, Kimberly Jay, Jalone' Nichols, Jumerius Robinson. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including a special friend Tykia Weatherspoon and a bonus son Jahlil Blanks.
