Ashley Peacock

Ashley Lynn Peacock, known affectionately as Ash, was a radiant beacon of love and joy, whose spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Born on May 31, 1987, in Seaford, DE, Ashley's life was a tapestry of loving relationships, laughter, and generous acts of kindness. Known for her loyalty and spirited personality, she made every space she entered brighter and every heart she touched fuller.
Ashley was an accomplished cosmetologist, whose hands created beauty as effortlessly as her heart created warmth. She spent countless hours drawing, singing, and dancing - activities that brought her immense joy and allowed her to share her vibrancy with the world. Ashley especially loved braiding hair, a skill that combined her professional expertise with her personal generosity. Yet, what mattered most to Ashley were her children and her family. She cherished her time with her son, Christopher Wilkinson, and her many siblings. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, Arinthia Peacock, and held a special place in her heart for her niece, Skylar Peacock.
Raised in the New Holy Trinity COGIC under the late Bishop LT Blachshear, Ashley's faith was the compass that guided her life. She served as a member of the Sunshine Band, a Junior Usher, and the Youth Department. Her devotion is best captured in the scriptures: "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13). Ashley personified this verse, living her life with faith, hope, and an abundance of love.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Starling Sr., and her son, Princeton Peacock. She is survived by her son, Christopher Wilkinson, her mother, Arinthia Peacock, her sisters Ruthynia Walker, Louise Peacock, Tracy Taylor, Charlene Peacock-Mitchell, Starlene Peacock, Kayana Peacock, Samira Peacock, Shantel DeShields, Elisha Boyer, Aronda Davis, Shukri Gibbs, and her brothers Starling Jr, and Joseph Gibbs. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
