Ahniya R Coverdale

Ahniya Renee Coverdale was born July 5, 2006 in Milford, Delaware to Cassandra Reid and Wagner Coverdale. She unexpectedly departed this life on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the age of 17.
Ahniya, also known as "HBAM" attended school in Felton, Delaware where she graduated from Lake Forest High School on May 31, 2024. She worked at Beginnings and Beyond Childcare Center in Felton, Delaware.
Ahniya whose beauty and smile would light up a room was outgoing, loved to dance, style hair and she loved children. Her favorite movie and television shows were Grey's' Anatomy and Janky Promoters ( which she called Jolly Rollie). She took pleasure in getting her hair, lashes, nails, and feet done. Her favorite foods were hotdogs and baked beans even though her favorite restaurants were McDonalds and Tasty Crabs. Ahniya was dubbed the "cashapp" and "fashion queen" because of her love of clothes and shoes. Ahniya loved her family and friends to the fullest and would give her all to help everyone.
Ahniya was preceded in death by her father Wagner Coverdale.
Ahniya will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Cassandra Reid; maternal grandparents, Louis and Valerie Mann; paternal grandparents, Wagner Harmon and Patricia Coverdale; siblings, Darrell Hopkins, Reginal White, Kasondra Hopkins, Willow Coverdale, and Jada Davis; uncles, Anthony Reid, Willie Reid, Marcus Reid and Cory Coverdale aunts, Erica Reid, Kiaema Reid, Shante Coverdale and LaTonya Coverdale; nieces, Nova Hopkins, and Mahlani Glover; godparents, John and Denise Bowman; godsister, Daneisha Hazzard; godbrothers, Daniel Hazzard, Tyrell Hazzard and Vino Hazzard; special friend Ben Carter; best friends Aniyah Wyatte and Lamajah Johnson; special angels, Apalonio Patten and Reginal White Sr. as well as a host of cousins and friends.
